The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is available now Nintendo Switch 2, giving players a brand-new way to dive into Cyrodiil, whether they’re at home or on the go. This release also introduces control options built around the system’s flexible play styles, putting the action directly in your hands.

When playing in docked or tabletop mode, players can choose between Joy-Con™ 2 motion controls or mouse and touchscreen controls, making it easier to settle into the setup that fits the moment.

Motion controls are especially useful in combat. The right Joy-Con 2 handles standard (horizontal swing) and power (vertical swing) attacks, adding a more active option for close-range encounters. The left Joy-Con 2 will be used for casting spells (shake), sheathing or unsheathing your weapon (tilt left), blocking (tilt right), and entering or exiting stealth (tilt back).

Players who prefer the opposite layout can swap motion inputs between the left and right Joy-Con 2, especially helpful for left-handed players looking for a more comfortable setup.
