Fallout 4 & Skyrim Special Edition – September Featured Mods
This month’s Featured Mods have two separate themes: Construction for Fallout 4 Mods, and Magic for Skyrim Mods. In addition to the new mods below, several mods fitting these themes are being re-featured in-game. While settlement-minded characters and mages may benefit most from these mods, we’ve tried to include something for everyone.
We’d love to hear about your favorite mods. Let us know what they are in the comments below, or in the dedicated threads found on the Fallout 4 and Skyrim forums.
Fallout 4

Standalone Construction Power Armor by Horusstilllives
Fallout 4 mod for PC and Xbox One
Feel like kind of a fifth wheel around here? Need a little extra protection facing down Deathclaw Matriarchs and Mirelurk Queens? This power armor may look rougher than most, but it’s no less robust.
Salvage Beacons by Kinggath
Fallout 4 mod for PC and Xbox One
Have you ever found yourself making hard decisions between a full inventory and an incredible cache of new stuff? With this mod, you can place a salvage beacon in the container and have your settlers fetch everything for you. You may recognize the author from his popular Sim Settlements series of mods, and we recommend trying this one as well!
Power Armor Frame Crafting & More by 3lric
Fallout 4 mod for PlayStation 4
This mod covers a range of convenience items and improvements related to power armor. It’s a great addition whether power armor is a key component of your arsenal, or you’re a collector looking to show everything off.

Skyrim Special Edition

Bandolier: Bags And Pouches by Dragten
Skyrim Special Edition mod for PC and Xbox One
This heavily customizable mod allows you to increase your carrying capacity with a variety of items, ranging from simple pouches to vial-filled bandoliers. This not only look great, but most players will find the extra storage quite useful.
Sirwho’s Wizard Hats by Sirwho
Skyrim Special Edition mod for PC and Xbox One
The haute couture of Skyrim’s mages fully embraces the hood, but there is no reason you can’t break these fashion trends and don one of these fabulous Wizard Hats.
Underhearth: A Winterhold Home by Thamzurak
Skyrim Special Edition mod for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4
For the more ascetic-minded adventurers, the simple trappings of this home are all they’ll need. Mages may particularly appreciate the quiet place to study, as well as the story of its prior occupants. They’ll also be pleased to know an alchemy station can be found at the Journeyman’s Nook entrance, although enchanters will need to travel to the nearby College of Winterhold.
