Our Featured Mods theme this month is weaponry!

The community produces an amazing selection of weapons for both Skyrim Mods and Fallout 4 Mods, and it’s something we wanted to celebrate. With so many great mods to choose from it was hard to settle on only a few. We’ve aimed to cover a good selection, from flashy to practical, so you can better fill out your arsenal.

This mod provides powerful new weapons not to you, but to over two dozen important figures across Skyrim. This is a great touch to the world, and you are welcome to try acquiring any of them yourself – but you’ll need to contend with their owners to do so.

This simple mod allows you to wield the clubs dropped by giants. While their incredible strength isn’t transferable, it’s a fun option for anyone able to claim one!

If you’re a fan of the katana and dai-katana from earlier Elder Scrolls games, this mods re-introduces them. Not content with adding one or two, Cyan49 has made a huge selection available across the standard craftable materials.

The Darkburned Blade is a striking, high fantasy greatsword. With the design and effects, it has tremendous character, and holds up very well in a fight.

Fallout 4

This is a fun mod with a huge number of new turrets, ranging from plasma rifles and flame throwers to broadsiders and cryo-missles. If you’re looking to avoid a tangle of cables, it also includes bubble turrets that only require proximity to a power source.

Stylish, and with more than a little heft, the M2045 is a powerful rifle with a range of configuration options. It also had some new animations added last winter, which early adopters of this mod might have missed.

Chrome and customization are the defining qualities of this gun, which can be crafted to best suit your needs. High-end crafters can end up with some very powerful modifications, but scarce ammo helps balance this out.

This plasma weapon looks amazing, but what really stands out is its charging mechanic and versatility of fire modes. This gives you a lot of options in a single gun; you may even want to carry two around.
