Fallout 4 & Skyrim Special Edition – January Featured Mods
With winter upon us, we wanted to celebrate with some appropriately frosty Skyrim mods to enhance your playthrough.
For Fallout 4 we have a mix of weapon and some workshop mods to add variety to resource management. Links are included to their respective profiles on Skyrim Mods and Fallout 4 Mods.
We also want to hear about your favorite mods in the comments below, or on the Skyrim and Fallout 4 forums.
Skyrim Special Edition
Whitewind Player Home by XXxSyNc08
Skyrim mod for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC
A wonderful player home north of Windhelm, the wintery landscape is perfect for characters who want to immerse themselves in the frozen north. You may find you want to spend all your time inside, however, given the nice decorations and wide array of newly crafted containers.
Master Of Destruction by Entwaifu
Skyrim mod for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
An expanded repertoire of spells, allowing the greatest of mages to focus massive destructive energy against a single target. In addition to three powerful elemental attacks, this also lets you remove elemental resistances, and adds a new drain attack.

Frostbite - A Magical Fox Follower by NaiyaThistletail
Skyrim mod for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC
Don’t let appearances deceive you. This snow fox has been magically fused with an unfortunate wizard, and now brings a variety of frost spells to the fight – no doubt to the surprise of your opponents!

Artifacts - The Ice Blade Of The Monarch by Borx25 / FrankFamily
Skyrim Mod for PC and Xbox One
This gorgeous sword is one of several weapons obtainable in this mod. To find them, you’ll need to follow a treasure map to the far reaches of the northern coast, including The Chill and the waters around a certain mad hermit. The rewards are worth the effort, as they look great and have powerful new enchantments.
Light Refracting Stalhrim Armors and Weapons by Skysan4298
Skyrim mod for PC and Xbox One
Skysan4298’s mod adds new effects to stalhrim equipment, giving it a translucent quality, and adjusting how it reflects. If you like the look, you should also check their related environmental effects mod: Transparent And Refracting Icicle And Frost Atronach (Xbox One and PC).
Woolly Rhino by Viltuska
Skyrim mod for PC and Xbox One
This woolly rhino is best enjoyed as a picturesque addition to the tundra of Skyrim, as it would much rather you leave it alone, and is a fierce combatant if bothered.
Fallout 4
Wasteland Melody's Chinese Assault Rifle Standalone by Wasteland Melody
Fallout 4 mod for PC and Xbox One
A recreation of the classic Fallout 3 weapon, this assault rifle has a great range of customization options to fit a variety of playstyles. As with many ballistic weapons, it can also be configured to use several different ammo types. Whatever you choose, it’s a lot of fun to play with, and looks great! It also has a custom animation mod, which we are also featuring this month.

Chinese Assault Rifle Animations by Wardaddy755 and Navaro
Fallout 4 mod for Xbox One
These custom animations will help you get the most out of your Chinese Assault Rifle!
Arturo's Shooting Range by Sagittarius
Fallout 4 mod for PC and Xbox One
What better way to test out a new weapon than a shooting range? A quick stop by Arturo’s stall, and you can blast away at targets setup in his basement.

Go Green! Go Solar! by OICTOOTP
Fallout 4 mod for PlayStation 4
Just because you live in a blasted out nuclear wasteland doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be considerate to what’s left of the environment. With this mod, you can kit out your settlements with solar panels, and avoid the din of traditional generators.

Solar Power by Andy-Van
Fallout 4 mod for PC and Xbox One
Another solar mod, with both roof-mounted and wall-mounted options for a green-friendly settlement that has nothing to do with hard radiation.
Passive Water Resources Vol.1 by Ghzfba
Fallout 4 mod for PC and Xbox One
This interesting mod expands your resource options, allowing you to stockpile water, and collect rainwater. There is a wide variety for both, and some enormous set pieces for the serious builder.
