Forgotten Seasons is a brand-new dungeon adventure for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition.

With grand halls to explore, dangerous automatons to battle, and unique rewards to discover, this offers a full dungeon experience replete with stunning visuals and callbacks to previous lore. Sharp-eyed adventurers can leave with ancient Dwarven treasures, including assembling a powerful crown and new mount. Enjoy our creators’ largest team effort to date, with multiple designers and artists coming together to craft this adventure. Forgotten Seasons is available now in the Skyrim Special Edition Creation Club.

The ruins of Vardnknd features multiple areas, each with a different aesthetic and gameplay challenge inspired by the four seasons, all while maintaining its roots in traditional Dwarven lore and architecture.

Spring's Symphony

Deadly Spriggans populate the area in Spring's Symphony. Bodies of a mercenary party lay strewn about as forest creatures scamper blithely past their hardened corpses.

Winter's Chimes

Tread across icy walkways and dive into freezing cold ponds in Winter's Chimes. Playing in Survival Mode adds an additional element of danger as the freezing conditions can prove as deadly as any ice wraith.

Summer's Chords

Narrow pipes extend over pits of molten lava in Summer's Chords. You will need to discover the means to cool this sweltering miasma of heat and steam.

Autumn's Bells

In the cavernous Autumn's Bells, an underground harvest is taking place. Centurions walk the grounds, their twin blades slicing through the tightly braided stalks, as well as any trespasser seeking to interrupt their task.

Treasures of Vardnknd

Some believe an ancient Dwarven animunculi remains to protect powerful artifacts left behind by the Dwemer. Legends speak of majestic Dwarven horses galloping through the hills, or tiny metal bugs buzzing around flowers blooming in the spring. An arcane crown is said to be hidden here, along with multiple masks that can be combined with it for varying affects.

Others believe the more powerful artifacts are tied to the weather itself, body and mind altered by the ever-changing sky.

Group Effort

Forgotten Seasons is a team effort among our community creators, with assistance from Bethesda Game Studios developers. An exceptional amount of work and coordination went into the design of this dungeon, and we’re incredibly excited by the finished product.

The original design for Forgotten Seasons was done by Trainwiz, and the Dwarven Crown by PrivateEye. Additional art was provided by Elianora and Rob "fadingsignal” Vogel, with additional design support from Kris Takahashi. A big thanks to the rest of our Creation Club team for their playtesting and feedback.
